Pinko Summer 2009!

Summer 2009…do you remember this t-shirt? Well, My Saint-Tropez Pinko’s t-shirt is now no longer wearable, after thousands of washing, due to thousands of nights out wearing it, I had to put it away for good. BUT….the three brooches that came in the box with the t-shirt…I still use them! And …they are so stylish! I love to wear them with night dresses or shiny tops together with my Luisa Spagnoli silk and Swarowski bag. I bought my Luisa Spagnoli’s bag in 2010 for Adele’s wedding in Lithuania (check out Adele’s blog Peonie&Pearls). Great purchase! I still wearing it now for some very special occasions.

Estate 2009…vi ricordate questa T-shirt? La mia PINKO Saint Tropez adesso è inutilizzabile, grazie ai migliaia di lavaggi che hanno seguito le altrettante migliaia di nottate spese indossando questa meravigliosa t-shirt. MA…le tre spille che erano dentro la scatola, li usa ancora oggi, in diverse occasioni. Ultimamente adoro indossarle con vestiti da era o top particolarmente eleganti che abbino con la mia pochet in sita e Swarowski di Luisa Spagnoli!! Un grande acquisto fatto nel 2010 per il matrimonio di Adele (visitate il suo blog Peonie&Pearls) in Lituania.

'Peace of Shoe' Mr. C. Louboutin (Paris Press Office)

Welcome to my blog! This is my FIRST post and I’m so excited about it. Micam in Milan has just finished and the Milan Fashion Week is about to end!…so everyone is ready to pack their bag and move to Paris to have full overview of the next fashion season!!! But here let’s focus on what’s now in store

I wanted to start this experience with something really special, so I decided that this was the right place for a very special shoe, a limited edition shoe to benefit microfinance. “Peace of Shoe” is a classic, peep-toe platform covered in luxurious silk satin, trimmed with hand stitched and embroidered Indian ribbon. Only 33 pairs were produced worldwide, and each is numbered and signed by Mr. Louboutin. They will be available in champagne (LA, Miami), lavender (Miami), and pink (LA) and will retail for $1,495, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit microfinance. When I found out that Mr. Louboutin was also involved in the Grameen Project, it was inevitable to dedicate my first post to him and to his beautiful ‘Peace of Shoe’!

Benvenuti sul mio blog! Questo è il mio PRIMO post! Che emozione! Il Micam a MIlano è finito ed anche la Fashion Week sta per terminare… ora tutti i riflettori si sposteranno su Parigi…quante belle scarpe ci aspettano nella prossima stagione …ma intanto concentriamoci su questa.

Ho voluto iniziare questa nuova avventura con qualcosa di veramente unico, così ho deciso che questo era il posto giusto per una scarpa veramente speciale, un’ edizione limitata creata per aiutare i progetti di microfinanza. ‘Peace of Shoe’ è una scarpa classica, peep-toe, coperta con lussuosa seta satin e cucita a mano con fiocco in tessuto indiano. Sono state prodotte solo 33 paia, ognuna delle quali è numerata e firmata da Mr. Louboutin. Questa scarpa sarà venduta in alcune esclusive boutique americane in Miami e LA per $1,495 e il 100% verrà dato in beneficenza per i progetti di microfinanza della Grameen Foundation a cui io sono particolarmente legata. Quando ho scoperto che Mr.Louboutin era coinvolto in questo progetto è stato inevitabile dedicare il mio primo post a questa bellissima scarpa.
