The three women appointed to ministerial roles take over high-visability jobs in the new executive: Elsa Fornero, Italian Minister of Labour and Welfare, Anna Maria Cancellieri, Italian Minister of Internal Affairs, Paola Severino, Italian Minister of Justice. As also well noted by this week issue of The Economist, they are not former calendar girls or TV show girls like the women in the previous cabinet, they have competency, knowledge and a very important CV…the wind has changed.

Mario Monti holds out for a technocratic governament until 2013. We wish him and all his team all the best in their new roles.

Le tre donne appuntate ad importanti ruoli ministeriali nel nuovo esecutivo sono: Elsa Fornero, Ministro del Lavoro e Welfare, Anna Maria Cancellieri, Ministro degli Affari Interni, Paola Severino, Ministro della Giustizia. Come anche sottolineato sul The Economist di questa settimana, loro non hanno fatto calendari e non sono delle showgirls come quelle del precedente governo. Loro hanno le competenze, la conoscenza ed un curriculum di tutto rispetto. Il vento è  cambiato.
